Accounting & Tax Department - Senior Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our Accounting & Tax Department. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality accounting, tax, and compliance services to clients while mentoring junior staff and contributing to the firm's growth. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS ,IAS).
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and other financial data.
• Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Handling VAT Return Filling & Submission to NBR
• Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, audit, or tax
• Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Odoo

Nice to have

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CA - Completed or in advanced stages
• Strong analytical skills
