Senior Odoo Implementer

About This Role

RizmiWare is an Odoo partner delivering end-to-end ERP implementations for companies across Egypt and the MENA region — retail, manufacturing, transport, security services, contracting and more. We are looking for a Senior Odoo Implementer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience to take full ownership of client projects from first discovery session to go-live and handover.

This is a senior, client-facing role. You will not just configure modules — you will shape the solution, lead a small delivery team, and be the person the client trusts to get the project live on time.

What you will do

• Own project delivery end-to-end — run discovery and business-analysis sessions, document the client's workflow, get it signed off, and drive the project through configuration, testing, training, go-live and handover.
• Design and deliver tailored demos — build demo scenarios around the client's actual requirements and business cycle rather than a generic product tour, and present them convincingly to decision makers.
• Configure and tailor Odoo across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR & Payroll, POS and eCommerce according to the approved scope.
• Lead and mentor an implementation team — distribute tasks, review outputs, unblock team members, and keep everyone aligned on scope and deadlines.
• Work with the development team on custom modules and integrations — write clear functional specifications, review the delivered work against them, and test before it reaches the client.
• Use AI tools efficiently in day-to-day delivery — to accelerate requirement analysis, documentation, test scenarios, training material and client communication — while staying accountable for the accuracy of every output.
• Respect and protect the delivery workflow — follow the agreed project stages, scope and change-request process, keep documentation and sign-offs current, and escalate risks early instead of absorbing them silently.
• Run user training and go-live support, and make sure the client's team is genuinely able to operate the system after handover.

Work setup

• Remote / work from home is the default arrangement at this time.
• On-site client visits are required from time to time — for training sessions, demos, discovery workshops or go-live support — mostly within Egypt.

Requirements

Must have

• 4–5 years of hands-on Odoo implementation experience, with a track record of projects you personally took to go-live.
• Proven project delivery — you can talk through real projects you delivered: scope, timeline, obstacles, and how you closed them out.
• Team leadership — experience leading or mentoring implementers or a delivery team, distributing work and reviewing quality.
• Strong functional knowledge of the core Odoo cycles: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, and HR & Payroll. Manufacturing, POS or eCommerce is a strong plus.
• Demo skills — the ability to build and present a demo shaped around a specific client's requirements and win their confidence.
• Discipline with process — you work inside a defined delivery workflow, document decisions, respect scope and change control, and do not improvise around agreed steps.
• Efficient use of AI tools in professional work, with sound judgement about where they help and where they must be verified.
• Fluent Arabic and good English — able to run sessions and write documentation in both.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required for training or demos.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Egyptian localization and ETA e-invoicing integration.
• Experience implementing Egyptian payroll (social insurance and income tax rules).
• Odoo certification, or experience across Odoo 17 / 18 / 19.
• Technical literacy — able to read Python/XML and write precise specs for developers.
• Experience in an Odoo partner or consulting environment with multiple concurrent clients.
