We are currently seeking to hire a Software Project Manager to join our office team in Cairo.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of ERP implementation projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Report project status regularly to senior management.

Business Analysis

  • Gather and document business requirements from all departments.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and process flow diagrams.
  • Ensure software solutions align with Mimar's operational objectives.

ERP (Odoo) Implementation

  • Act as the primary point of contact between Mimar and the external Odoo implementation partner.
  • Review and validate proposed solutions and system configurations.
  • Ensure custom developments comply with approved business requirements.
  • Coordinate system configuration, customization, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and prioritize implementation.

Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate with Project Controls, Finance, HR, Procurement, Commercial, Design, PMO, and IT departments.
  • Ensure all modules are integrated and support end-to-end business processes.
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement review meetings.

Quality Assurance & Testing

  • Develop testing strategies and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans.
  • Coordinate UAT activities with business users.
  • Verify that delivered functionality meets approved requirements.
  • Manage issue tracking and resolution during implementation.

Change Management

  • Support organizational change management initiatives.
  • Prepare user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Coordinate user training sessions.
  • Promote user adoption of new systems and processes.

Vendor Management

  • Manage external consultants, software vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Review deliverables and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
  • Evaluate consultant performance and recommend improvements.

Governance & Documentation

  • Maintain complete project documentation.
  • Establish project governance, approval workflows, and reporting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) as an Software Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of core Odoo modules (Accounting, HR, Projects, Sales, Inventory, etc.).
  • Ability to understand business workflows and translate them into functional requirements.
  • Familiarity with Odoo customization and integration points.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English

Work Environment

  • Working hours: 8:00 to 17:00
  • Days off: Friday & Saturday
  • Location: New Cairo
